Rare Vintage Seiko Quartz 4336-8050 Type II – Snowflake Taisetsu Dial with Natural Patina
An exceptionally rare 1977 Seiko featuring the coveted "Snowflake" or Taisetsu dial—a textured, shimmering surface created through a unique reflective finish. The Japanese word Taisetsu translates to "important" or "cherished," reflecting the dial's significance among collectors. This example has developed a beautiful natural patina over nearly 50 years, adding warmth and character that makes each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Made in Japan in October 1977
Dial: Original, Snowflake Patina - Textured, shimmering surface with natural aging. Small discoloration near the date window adds vintage character.

To set the Date: Pull the crown out one click and turn the crown anticlockwise
Best at noon (NOT MIDNIGHT WHEN THE DAY/DATE IS CHANGING). Do NOT roll the crown fast. Always roll softly and slowly.
To Set the Time: Pull the crown out 2 clicks and roll the crown slowly to the time desired, softly push the crown back in and it will run.
Please follow the Day/Date and time setting instruction exactly and if you don't know how to operate these functions visit a professional watchmaker or message me directly first.
