Vintage Elgin FK-531-C Deep Sea Diver – Professionally Serviced August 2025
A robust 1990 Elgin automatic diver with striking blue dial and Mercedes-style hands. This 42mm sports watch features a reliable Miyota movement that's been professionally serviced and tested at +14 seconds/day. Complete with original stainless steel bracelet and bonus rubber strap.
Made in Japan in September 1990
Dial: Great condition, original, blue dial, white button markers, never repainted
Case: Good condition, large size, stainless steel, some light scratches
Bezel: Good condition
Crown: Push twist crown located at the 3 o'clock position
Hands: Mercedes style hand
Case Material: Stainless steel
Crystal: Great condition, generally scratch free
Bracelet Material: Stainless steel, Elgin signed clasp
Bracelet Colour: Silver
Bracelet Length: will fit up to an 7.5" wrist
Extra Strap: Blue and black rubber sports strap, will fit up to an 8.7" wrist
Lug width: 20mm
Case Size: 42.3mm including crown x 47mm lug to lug
Movement: Miyota – Original and correct. The watch has an automatic movement and has been tested and is running excellently and within spec.
After testing, the watch gained 14 seconds over a 24-hour period. It is normal for watches to run slightly fast immediately after a service and then gradually slow down over the following months and years.
Service: This Watch was professionally serviced by my expert watchmaker and has photo evidence of this. Also, in the pictures you can see the results from the time graph machine.

To set the Date : Pull the crown out one click and turn the crown anticlockwise
Best at noon (NOT MIDNIGHT WHEN THE DAY/DATE IS CHANGING). Do NOT roll the crown fast. Always roll softly and slowly.
To Set The Time: Pull the crown out 2 clicks and roll the crown slowly to the time desired, softly push the crown back in and it will run.
Please follow the Day/Date and time setting instruction exactly and if you don't know how to operate these functions visit a professional watchmaker or message me directly first.
If you are not confident and experienced using a Day/Date watch

If you don't know how to operate the Day/Date function it will break the watch
