Vintage Seiko Lord Matic Special 5206-6060 with Linen Dial

Made in Japan in October 1971

Dial: Excellent condition, original Linen textured dial, never repainted

Case: Excellent condition, stainless steel case, generally scratch free— please see photos and video

Case Size: 36mm (including crown) × 39.3mm lug to lug x 9.5mm thick ( including Crystal)

Day/Date:  Bilingual Day - The days are in 2 languages, English and Kanji (Japanese) Both Day and Date Function has been thoroughly tested and works perfectly. 

Lug Width: 18mm

Crystal: Excellent condition, Original Crystal, generally scratch-free

Strap: 18mm Blue Ostrich Skin Strap with Stainless Steel Buckle Attached

Movement

Original and correct automatic Hi-Beat movement. Professionally serviced and tested — running excellently and within specification.

This watch also has a hand winding feature, turn the crown clockwise when the crown is in the normal position

After testing, the watch was 7 seconds fast over a 24-hour period.

This watch features hacking— the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out, The second hand will stop when the crown is pulled out, allowing precise time-setting.

How to Set the Date & Time

Best to move the minute and hour hand to the 7 position — do not adjust the day or date when the minute or hour hands are between 9pm and 3am — to avoid damaging the date function. Roll slowly and smoothly. 

Date: Pull the crown out 1 click and roll clockwise. 

Day: Pull the crown out 1 click and roll anti-clockwise - roll very slowly and gently.

Time: Pull the crown out 2 clicks, roll slowly to the desired time, then gently push the crown back in.
